While paving industry in Oman has generally followed a regular course of supplying only few types of interlocking tiles and the same repetitive types of other concrete products, Assarain Concrete Products has always cared for its clients and come up with new alternatives, Assarain is the only distinguished company which brings for the first time “Shot blasted Concrete Products” to Oman.

Shotblasting is a reprocessing technique of blasting the concrete surface with high wear and tear resistant steel shots at high velocity in a given spectrum of sizing. The basic process involves peppering the concrete product units with shots, which are small beads of steel, fired at high velocity. The shots spall the surface a bit at a time, dislodging small particles of concrete and removing the top cement laitance (soft concrete) and revealing the mechanical profile with improved beautiful aesthetic surface. 

However, very high precision, deft machine handling and production knowledge and technique is required to avoid kidney marks etc. Assarain’s Shotblasted products are known for its consistent finish and beautiful profile. This gives an altogether different dimension to the normal concrete products by a total changeover of look, colour and ageing.

Assarain is the first to bring an integrated state-of-the-art German shotblasting machine which is fully automated and capable of generating large quantities of a variety of concrete products with shot blasted surface, in limited time.
